The corona virus is putting our society to the test. No transport because the advice is to stay at home as much as possible, this also applies to the upcoming Easter weekend and everyone is advised not to make plans for the May holiday. It's Monday, March 30 Outbreak Management Team met to advise on the further approach to the COVID-19 outbreak.

schools and childcare

Current measures for education and childcare will be extended until 28 April. Until the May holidays, schools will continue to provide distance education. No transport because these are schools in primary, secondary and secondary vocational education. If necessary, schools are open for (school) exams. Schools and childcare also provide emergency care for children of parents in crucial professions and for vulnerable children. The current measures will also be extended to 28 April for universities of applied sciences and universities.

enforcement

The presidents of the security region can close locations (beaches, shops, markets and parks) if no measures are taken to keep people 1,5 meters away. Presidents have the option to act through an emergency ordinance. The Cabinet continuously monitors the implementation and enforcement of these measures in practice. This is done in close contact with the administration and the authorities that enforce the measures (Public Prosecution Service, Police and Security Regions).

closures

No transport in the catering industry because all food and beverage outlets will remain closed until 28 April. Pick up and delivery is allowed, also at coffee shops. Sports and fitness clubs, museums, saunas, casinos, arcades, and sex establishments will also remain closed until April 28. All contact professions are prohibited up to and including April 28, insofar as a distance of 1,5 meters cannot be kept, such as hairdressers. This does not apply to (para) medics. The ban on events with a permit or notification requirement will continue to apply until 1 June next.
