According to the CDA, antisocial behavior in traffic and against public transport staff should be punished more severely.

The CDA has its own election program presented. Ralph Diederen, chairman of the program committee, presented the program to acting party chairman Mark Buck and party leader Henri Bontenbal. Mobility is high on the CDA agenda, and the program is ambitious in this area.

The CDA states that accessibility is a basic right and wants to invest generously in both roads and public transport. The focus is also on supporting important railway lines such as the Lower Saxony Line and the Lely Line, which should particularly improve accessibility in the less densely populated regions.

The CDA wants to allocate more money for regional public transport and regional accessibility. Concrete projects such as the Maaslijn and the Zwolle-Munster connection are crucial preconditions for this new way of thinking, which offers fair and accessible solutions for the whole of the Netherlands.

The CDA is against road pricing in these areas, because people there have fewer transport alternatives. Instead, an e-vignette is proposed to obtain contributions from foreign motorists for road maintenance.

The party sees opportunities for the NS to take a first step towards a domestic high-speed network with the new generation of intercity trains. This would not only make it more attractive to work in the city and live elsewhere, but also offer an alternative to European flying holidays.

There are fewer alternatives for people living in rural areas than for city dwellers. That is why the CDA is against the idea of road pricing in rural areas. They do want to use an e-vignette to ask people outside the Netherlands to contribute to maintaining the road network. The party also wants to invest in sustainable and affordable alternatives to the car, such as fast cycle paths and shared transport. The party is prepared to adjust rules if these stand in the way of alternative forms of transport.

According to the CDA, antisocial behavior in traffic and against public transport staff should be punished more severely. In addition, the CDA invests in road barriers and lighting on dangerous provincial N-roads. The party also wants people with disabilities to have better access to public transport and other public facilities. With this integrated approach to mobility, the CDA shows that it is a party that looks beyond the beaten track and offers sustainable, fair and accessible solutions for the whole of the Netherlands.
