On the way to a greener future, the exhibitors at the InnoTrans 2024 their commitment to sustainability. This international trade fair for transport technology, which will be held in Berlin from 24 to 27 September 2024, features a wide range of eco-friendly innovations, from CO₂-neutral transport to interior designs that save resources.

One of the most striking initiatives is the presentation of Siemens Mobility in Hall 27. Here the company shows how it helps its customers make the transition to carbon-neutral transport of both passengers and goods. Siemens Mobility solutions include clean vehicles and infrastructure development, as well as services that extend the life of equipment and thus reduce the environmental footprint. Their commitment to the use of energy-efficient products and alternative propulsion systems such as battery and hydrogen technologies positions them as a forerunner in sustainable mobility.

Alstom is also taking major steps in the field of sustainability. This company, which is an exhibitor in Hall 3.2, has announced that by 2025 all their new products will be designed according to environmentally friendly principles. The focus is on reducing energy consumption through more efficient drive systems and better aerodynamics, and on the development of modern driver assistance systems.

Vossloh, with an exhibition in Hall 26, emphasizes the importance of a holistic approach to the railway system. With their comprehensive system solutions, they improve their customers' infrastructure and maximize track availability, contributing to sustainable mobility worldwide.

SPITZKE, presented in Hall 5.2, illustrates how the company focuses on the responsible use of raw materials such as electricity and diesel, and how it reduces CO₂ emissions. This is also reflected in their attention to social issues, including the safety and health of their employees.

Lantal Textiles shows in Hall 1.1 how the company produces its textile products, including seating and floor coverings, with significant reductions in the use of raw materials, CO₂ emissions and water consumption.

InnoTrans is the leading international trade fair for transport technology, which takes place every two years in Berlin.

A smaller but striking innovation is the green lever of WAGO's connecting clamps, on display in Hall 13. These are partly made from certified biocircular and recycled plastics, which helps save fossil resources and keep plastics in the cycle.

Swissrail has the honor of presenting the first CO₂-neutral country stand at InnoTrans, a first that they will continue in 2024. The focus is on reducing emissions from travel and supporting climate protection projects together with their partner Swiss Climate.

Messe Berlin

Messe Berlin itself underlines its commitment to sustainability with the installation of Berlin's largest rooftop solar panel installation, which will save a significant amount of annual CO₂ emissions. The trade fair organization also improves its waste management strategies and focuses on the reuse of materials and recycling.
