Recently alderman Monique Esselbrugge said that there will be an investigation into the possibilities of free bus transport in Eindhoven. The research into this will be carried out next year, at the request of political party 50PLUS. Traveling for free on public transport has many advantages. Fewer people will travel by car, which means fewer traffic jams and fewer emissions of harmful substances. And with the rising costs of today, more and more people are getting into financial problems and can no longer afford public transport.
