The Gooi en Vechtstreek region can also be proud of their carrier with the great appreciation for the services of Vervoer Gooi en Vechtstreek B.V..

Connexxion Taxi Services, a well-known name in the Dutch transport sector, has recently received a nice order. The company, known for its innovative approach to public transport, has had its contract for the Taxbus in Eindhoven extended by a year. This extension is a clear sign of trust from clients and recognition of the quality of Connexxion's services.

De Tax bus, not to be confused with a regular taxi, offers a unique service in Eindhoven. With a flexible schedule of 15 minutes before or after the agreed time and the option to pick up or drop off other travelers along the way, the Taxbus represents an efficient and communal form of transportation. This model is closely aligned with the growing need for shared mobility solutions in urban areas.

Another notable aspect of Taxbus in Eindhoven is its emphasis on environmental friendliness. In line with the city's ambitious environmental agenda, electric driving was a crucial condition in the previous tender. Eindhoven has set itself the goal of improving air quality and aims to only allow emission-free taxis from 2026. Connexxion has also achieved success outside Eindhoven. The company has been provisionally awarded tenders in two areas in Tilburg, indicating an expansion of their activities and influence in that region.

In addition to Connexxion, there is also good news for it Transport Gooi en Vechtstreek B.V. This transport service, which is responsible for Wmo transport and student transport in the Gooi and Vechtstreek region, has recently received high ratings from parents, caregivers and Wmo travelers. More than 600 respondents have expressed their satisfaction with an average score of 8. This is a significant achievement, given the complexity and responsibility associated with this type of transport.
