The pubs and restaurants have to close for 4 weeks from Monday. There will be an evaluation after 14 days. That has been decided at the consultation committee of the various governments in Belgium. Restaurants can still provide take-away dishes until 22 pm. Prime Minister Alexander De Croo (Open VLD) has announced that there will be a comprehensive support package for the catering industry. There will also be one nationwide curfew from midnight to 5 in the morning. Within that time slot, people are still allowed to go outside for urgent medical reasons or if it doesn't work otherwise for your work.

“There will be an extensive package of support to support the hospitality industry in this particularly difficult period,” said Prime Minister Alexander De Croo (Open VLD). "We are not going to let anyone go," he said.
