The call, under the title "Attention ladies working in the healthcare transport and taxi sector! Are you suffering from transition problems and would you like to know more about this? Then join our webinar".

The Mobility Social Fund has announced that it will launch a webinar will organize specifically aimed at women working in the healthcare transport and taxi sector who are going through menopause. Titled “Powerful Through Menopause,” the event will provide women with essential information and tools to navigate the challenges of this natural stage of life.

Menopause is a time when women experience various symptoms such as insomnia, hot flashes, mood swings and fatigue, which can significantly affect their personal and professional lives. According to experts, about 80% of women experience complaints during menopause, which can have significant economic consequences. It is estimated that approximately 80.000 women in the Netherlands are at home due to menopausal symptoms, with costs running into millions and additional pressure on the already tight labor market.

The webinar, which will last one hour, will be presented by a certified menopause consultant. The session will focus on sharing knowledge about transition, providing new insights, and offering practical tips to overcome these challenges. Participants will also learn how to discuss the transition, both at home and at work.
