From October 4 to 8, Utrecht will be the epicenter of camping enthusiasts and outdoor adventurers, when the Kampeer & Caravan Jaarbeurs (KCJ) opens its doors. It promises to be more than just an exhibition of shiny caravans and campers because it will be a true experience for anyone who has lost their heart to the outdoors.

This year, for example, visitors can test their favorite e-bike on a specially constructed bicycle course. But it doesn't stop with two-wheelers because KCJ also makes room for a live experience with caravans. Visitors have the opportunity to take a test drive, so that they can experience for themselves what it is like to travel in a caravan.

For those who want to deepen their knowledge, there is the Camping Theater. Lectures and workshops are given here that focus on all aspects of camping life, from sustainable travel to preparing meals in the open air.

Various suppliers, from established brands to start-ups, will be present to present their latest products and services. This makes the event interesting not only for consumers, but also for professionals in the industry.

Not to be forgotten are the new scoops that will be presented to the general public for the first time. Crosscamp Official will launch its latest Camper Vans series, which is specially designed for the adventurous traveler and enthusiasts of the so-called 'Vanlife'. Also in the spotlight are the new campers from LMC Caravan International, which seamlessly combine luxury and practical functionality for the modern globetrotter.

A special moment is also planned for Wednesday, October 5: the presentation of the ANWB Camper and Caravan of the Year Election. This annual highlight recognizes the most notable and innovative vehicles in their respective categories.

Sustainability will receive a special focus this year with the introduction of the Sustainable Camping Awards. On the 'Camping of the Future' square the nominees presented in this new category. This award not only rewards the most sustainable camping equipment, but also the most responsible camping spot or innovative concept that has a positive impact on our planet.
