However, they increasingly experience that when they turn out after a call, they are more bothered by drivers who park incorrectly. The emergency call from the KNRM is very clear: "Stop wrong parking in the seaside resorts, it can cost lives".

Lately it has become more and more common for them to be hindered in the exit. Wrong parking remains a major problem in many seaside resorts. Not only for the emergency services, but also for residents who can no longer even reach their own parking space or driveway on busy days. Seaside resorts such as Scheveningen do everything they can to limit the nuisance as much as possible. Error parkers are not only motorists, scooters are also often parked carelessly and cause nuisance.
During the summer months, between 1 June and 1 October, additional measures apply at Scheveningen. During that period, additional scan cars will be deployed and in a number of streets you will receive a wheel clamp in the event of incorrect parking immediately after the first fine. This can be a yellow or a red wheel clamp. You can get a yellow wheel clamp on your car if you have a parking ticket .
To have the wheel clamp removed, please contact the counter of the towing service. You must pay the costs for the wheel clamp and the parking ticket immediately. You can pin where you parked or pay cash at the counter. The wheel clamp is then removed. Have you not paid for the wheel clamp after 24 hours? Then your car will be towed.

You can get a red wheel clamp on your car if the bailiff from Tax Affairs seizes your car. This happens if you are in arrears in the payment of your municipal taxes. The clamp is not removed until the entire tax debt has been paid.
KNRM
The volunteer rescuers and lifeboats are available 24 hours a day for emergency and non-emergency services. On the basis of good seamanship, the KNRM provides assistance on the water to anyone who asks for it. KNRM rescues and helps, free of charge. They have been doing this since 1824 and will continue to do so. The KNRM is not a government service, but an independent organization with its own financing, which is maintained by donations, gifts and legacies.
