Since last week, stricter corona measures have been applied in the Netherlands. This also has consequences for Eindhoven Airport. It has been very quiet here for months compared to normal times. The current Lock Down has meant that almost all shops at the airport will be closed until January 19, 2021. Only the AH-to-Go is open. The GWK Travelex is also open. After the security check, Capi Travel Plaza is open. Other shops are closed.

Starbucks and STRIPES of the catering outlets in the terminal will remain open and after the security check The Cloud Club and Starbucks. All catering facilities have a 'take away', so you can only take your food with you. McDonalds is open for Take Out, opposite Eindhoven Airport. The McDrive is also open as usual. Hotel Tulip Inn Eindhoven Airport will remain open, they just do not offer room service and the bar is closed. Guests of Tulip Inn Eindhoven can currently only pick up meals and have to eat them in their hotel room.

Access to the terminal is again limited to passengers and staff only. This applies at least until January 19. For people who want to drop off or pick up travelers, only walk with a traveler if they are disabled. People who still want to drop off or pick up travelers are requested to drop off or pick up passengers on the Kiss & Ride in P1 (first floor) and stay with the car.

The existing measures that Eindhoven Airport has been using for some time, such as keeping a distance of 1,5 meters, hygiene measures, carrying a completed health declaration with you and additional communication about this to travelers still apply.

It is therefore still mandatory for all travelers from the age of 13 and airport personnel to wear a face mask in the terminal and in the parking garages of Eindhoven Airport. This also applies to the office of the car rental and the terminal of General / Business Aviation.

A negative travel advice has been issued by our government until mid-March. Travelers are urged by our government not to travel abroad for vacation or other unnecessary trips until then unless strictly necessary. Eindhoven Airport will remain open to passenger flights, emergency services and diverting aircraft. Eindhoven Airport reports this on them website.

Travelers arriving in the Netherlands and from a country outside the EU that is not on the list of safe countries in the European Union must be able to show a signed statement and a negative PCR coronate test since Tuesday (December 15, 18.00 p.m.). This can be found on the website of the national government.
