NS recently launched a digital version of the magazine SPOOR. SPOOR is the NS magazine for regular NS travelers. About 1,2 million copies are released per quarter. With the magazine, the Dutch Railways wants to inform and inspire travelers about offers, new products and services. SPOOR magazine has been published by NS season ticket holders four times a year for more than twenty years. The magazine is made by employees of the Dutch Railways in collaboration with content and marketing agency MPG.

From now on, customers and subscribers can also read the magazine digitally. This digital version of the magazine is much more extensive than the paper version. The articles are longer and more extensive than before, because the articles are accompanied by videos and animations. Future NS president-director Marjan Rintel (who will start at NS on 1 October) has written the foreword to this digital edition.

In this version you can read more about beautiful places and nice places to spend the night in Groningen, traveling with a face mask, public transport bicycle, cleaning the train, museum tips and many more great articles. The Dutch Railways have wanted a digital version of the magazine for some time TRACK The corona pandemic has accelerated the process. With a digital version they can respond more quickly to current events, for example. The Dutch Railways do not yet know whether the digital version of the magazine SPOOR is here to stay, they will look at the reach of the digital magazine and what customers think of it in the coming period.
