WizzAir, the leading low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, launched a flight this week from Pardubice Airport (Czech Republic) to Lviv, Ukraine. Pardubice Airport also offers flights to Kiev. Both routes are operated three times a week, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
The announcement this week came as the new era of clean travel has arrived at WizzAir. The airline has implemented a range of improved hygiene measures to ensure the health and safety of its customers and crew. As part of these new protocols, both cabin crew and passengers must wear face masks in-flight, cabin crew must also wear gloves. Passengers without masks are not allowed on board, passengers can always buy a new mask on board which is provided with a disinfection kit (1 small bottle of disinfectant gel, 2 pairs of gloves, 2 masks, 6 disinfection pads).
The planes of WizzAir regularly undergo a class-leading nebulization process with an antiviral solution and, following WizzAir's strict daily cleaning schedule, all airline aircraft are further disinfected overnight with the same antiviral solution. Passengers on board who wish to pay for purchases are encouraged to make contactless payment. Passengers are requested to follow physical distance measures put in place by local health authorities and are encouraged to make all pre-flight purchases online (e.g., checked baggage, WIZZ Priority, Fast Security Track) to minimize potential physical contact at the airport .
By adding WIZZ Flex to a booking, passengers can rest assured that if circumstances change, or if they simply wish to travel on a different date or to a different destination, they can rebook on any WIZZ flight of their choice . Providing that extra service for passenger bookings is a peace of mind during these uncertain times.
