The Ministry of Foreign Affairs added a number of holiday destinations, including Mallorca and Ibiza, to the list of negative travel advice. 

Non-essential travel is not recommended for those countries. In Belgium, the province of Antwerp was already colored orange, but Brussels has now also been added. In France, two popular areas are excluded for holidays, namely the capital Paris and the coastal area of ​​Bouches-du-Rhône on the Mediterranean, around Aix-en-Provence and Marseille.

The Dutch are urgently advised by the government to go into quarantine for 14 days upon returning home from one of the areas. 

“The Belgian government requires you to complete a Passenger Locator Form (PLF) within 48 hours before arrival if you are going to stay in Belgium for more than 48 hours,” writes the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. “In Belgium, code orange applies to travel to or return from the Dutch provinces of South Holland, Zeeland and North Holland. Non-essential travelers from these provinces are advised on arrival in Belgium to perform preventive testing and go into self-quarantine. ”

In the coming month, a family bubble may have a maximum of 5 permanent contacts, excluding children under 12 years of age. Shopping is also becoming stricter again and a registration requirement for sports lessons and wellness centers will be introduced. The social bubble is getting smaller because a family bubble will be allowed to have maximum contact with 5 other adults, excluding children, in the coming month.
