We are in the middle of the summer holiday period in the Netherlands, many Dutch people just stay at home in their own country and do not go on holiday. This is due to the consequences of the corona crisis. In these uncertain times, many people feel safest in their own country. But now the big question is: What are we going to do in the summer holidays? Now that the corona measures in the Netherlands have been relaxed by the government since 1 July, we can leave the house. Many people do not just want to sit at home during this holiday time, but also want to do fun things with the children. We've been inside long enough. The possibilities are perhaps a bit more limited or different than in other years, but we can still go out with some adjustments.

The ANWB recently published a election placed. This election is called: Election of the best outing in the Netherlands 2021. In this election you can vote for what you like the most and you can also win a nice prize.

The election of the best trips is divided into two categories:

Category 1: Most fun outing in the Netherlands (outings with at least 450.000 visitors per year and a rural character).

Category 2: Best outing in the Province.

You can vote in both categories, but this is not mandatory. A jury consisting of 6 experts has compiled a top 12 for each province (Noord-Holland has a top 13) and you can vote for one of these outings here. You can make your choice by searching for the name of your favorite outing. 5 days out (5 tickets of your choice per family) will be raffled among all voters with a fully completed participation after the election. The winner of the best outing will be announced early next year. Nationally, XNUMX best outings have been selected by the ANWB.
