KNV is currently working on providing insight into the additional costs involved in the start-up and up-scaling of transport and which carriers will charge to their clients.

The trade association, which worked with the trade unions as a partner throughout the corona crisis, will also discuss the information with that partner with the Ministry of VWS and with VNG. Now, three months after the corona outbreak, there is more insight into the longer-term consequences for society and the economy. Citizens, entrepreneurs and governments will all have to adapt to this new reality. This again requires efforts from the fellow governments.

According to the Minister of the Interior and Kingdom Relations Kajsa Ollongren, supported on behalf of the State Secretary of Finance - Taxation and Tax Authorities, is therefore no more than it is reasonable that fellow governments also receive real compensation after 1 June for their efforts and lost income. All governments will have to take responsibility together to keep their income and expenditure manageable as much as possible in the new situation.
