In the past period, there has been a disruption on the T-Mobile Network, causing the BCTs in the taxis to lose their connection many times over. The investigation was even escalated to management level and T-mobile indicated it was carrying out measurements in the field to find the actual cause.

Despite handling, according to the provider, was given priority, the problems persisted and many taxi drivers were completely inaccessible for their control center or taxi company in recent weeks. Within the industry, the outage was translated as one on-board computer or central software failure where both the BCT manufacturer and the software houses were powerless.

Given the magnitude of the problems and the ongoing investigation, upon inquiring from our Pitane Blue editorial office at T-Mobile, the company maintained that nothing was wrong.

“We don't recognize ourselves in the complaints you describe. We have not received any reports from customers from that environment. If customers do experience problems, we would of course like to hear about them so that we can resolve them as quickly as possible. For this, you can contact the permanent contact person at our T-Mobile customer service. ”, Says Janneke Versteeg - Corporate Communication T-Mobile.

Last Monday, T-Mobile indicated that it would post a fix during the day of 28-01 that should resolve the disruption. Today T-mobile has placed the solution and indicated that the connections should function stable since 10:30. Although we will continue to monitor, the affected BCT manufacturer indicated that the initial findings are positive.
