Atilay Uslu has entrepreneurship in its blood. His father and grandfather were also entrepreneurs, and Atilay was introduced to the challenges of entrepreneurship from an early age. With his travel company Corendon, he wants to offer travelers the best holiday at the best price. Atilay stands for respect, honesty and being yourself and he expects this from his employees. 

A difficult moment was when Corendon announced on Monday 3 June 2019 that the Tour operator and Corendon Dutch Airlines have been sold. It was a good time for sales and the best for the company, but it also felt very double, like getting rid of your own baby. 

It's a good business deal, but personally he had a lot more trouble with it than he thought. Fortunately, as a minority shareholder, he will continue to support and advise Corendon.

Atilay is one entrepreneur for whom no obstacle is too great. Over the years, he and Corendon have shown that they continue to take on new challenges. Atilay has thus established a company that is successful for a long time. He has shown vision, guts and an 'unstoppable' passion for entrepreneurship.

For example, with his vision and entrepreneurial spirit, Atilay has successfully set up an airline and hotel company in addition to a travel organization. The jury praises Atilay for his intransigence, ability to see solutions where others experience problems and his eye for the people around him.

The sale of part of the tour company is also an example of his long-term vision. He works systematically on the long-term development of Corendon, showing focus. In the coming period, this focus is expected to contribute to the expansion of the hotel business in particular.
