There are many new developments in the taxi and private rental sector (PHV). They happen quickly and furiously in many different countries. The Russian Federation is one of these countries where change is happening at a rapid pace. 

Sochi (Sochi in English) is not only the place where the Russian Formula F1 will be held at the end of September, it has also been the place to be during the organization of the Sochi TAXI conference and where the Winter Olympics were held.

The Sochi TAXI 2019 conference - an annual event - is one of the top 3 Russian taxi conferences where decision-makers of taxi companies from all over Russia meet, including the top management of the largest companies such as Yandex.Taxi, Uber and Gett. 

The event is the meeting place of national and international suppliers to the industry as well as representatives of the federal authorities. The cThis year's conference will be held in Sochi on the territory of the Radisson Lazurnaya Hotel Congress Building on October 10-11, 2019.

Figures and facts.

The first conference took place in November 2017, attracting 385 taxi industry delegates and managers, government representatives, and relevant public organizations. Last year, interest in the event increased and the total number of participants reached 628 people. This year the conference will attract even more experts and industry participants, regionally, federally and internationally.

Sochi Airport is located in the southwest of Russia, on the Black Sea close to the border with Georgia. In February 2014, the Winter Olympics were held in Sochi. The airport is located in the (kraj) Krasnodar region southeast of Sochi and can be reached by road via the A147 and A148 highways.
