Ouigo, a subsidiary of the French national railway company SNCF, has quickly established itself as a cost-effective option for travelers who prefer the speed and comfort of high-speed trains.

The promotion of 10.000 tickets for just 9 euros responds to the increasing demand for affordable and environmentally friendly travel options. The offer applies to travel between a wide range of cities including Madrid, Barcelona, Zaragoza, Tarragona, Albacete, Alicante, Valencia, Valladolid, Segovia and Cuenca. This latest trio of cities marks the recent expansion of Ouigo's network, with Valladolid and Segovia becoming accessible from April 19 and Cuenca following on June 1.

Ouigo's future plans demonstrate an ambition to further expand the Spanish high-speed network with destinations such as Elche, Murcia, Córdoba, Seville and Málaga. This expansion not only underlines the growing popularity of high-speed trains as a preferred option for domestic travel in Spain but also Ouigo's commitment to connecting more regions and boosting local economies.

Tickets are available via official website of Ouigo or via the mobile app, with special rates for children. Children between 4 and 13 years old enjoy even lower fares from 7 euros, while children under 3 years old can travel for free. This pricing strategy highlights Ouigo's mission to promote sustainable and family-friendly travel, encouraging more people to take the train for their next holiday or family visit.

With this promotion, Ouigo responds to the growing trend of sustainable tourism and offers an attractive option for those who want to explore Spain in an environmentally friendly and affordable way. Ouigo's success in Spain reflects a broader movement towards high-speed rail transport in Europe, where speed, comfort, affordability and environmental awareness go hand in hand.
