Munckhof triumphs again in Central Brabant and offers security for ten years.

Once again, Munckhof has proven itself as a preferred partner for target group transport in Regional Transport Central Brabant, by winning the recent tender that covers a wide range of transport services. This important win marks a continuation of the relationship between Munckhof and Regional Transport Midden-Brabant, which focuses on the provision of both demand-dependent transport for people with a WMO indication and public transport-free travel, as well as route transport such as student transport and youth law transport.

The agreement, which starts on August 1, 2024 and has an initial term of six years with the possibility of extension, underlines the confidence in Munckhof's ability to provide quality transport solutions. The tender attracted seven and three tenders respectively for the two lots, demand-driven transport and route transport. After a careful evaluation, which focused in particular on the best price-quality ratio, the choice fell on Munckhof.

“This tender is important for the continuity of our branch in Tilburg. In addition, it is a confirmation of the good work of recent years. We can be proud of that.”

Munckhof's continued success in this region is not only seen as a sign of their reliable service but also as an essential step for the continuity of their branch in Tilburg. The organization expects to carry out approximately 90.000 WMO journeys and 130.000 route-related journeys annually. These figures highlight the extent of responsibility Munckhof takes on and the impact of their work on the community.

This outcome is particularly welcomed by Hugo van Amsterdam, Manager Bureau Regional Transport Central Brabant at BRAVO, who sees the successful tender and the resulting continuity of target group transport in the region for the next ten years as an important milestone.

This development is also a reflection of the growing attention for sustainable and inclusive transport within the region, with an emphasis on accessibility and reliability for all target groups. With the extension of this collaboration between Munckhof and Regional Transport Midden-Brabant, the foundation is being laid for a sustainable future of mobility in the region, with an emphasis on the needs of the user and the community as a whole.

This tender includes the purchase of transport capacity for both demand-dependent (WMO and public transport-free travel) and route transport (LLV and youth law transport). The control center is fixed until the end of this year. This agreement not only underlines the expertise and trust in Munckhof as a leading party in target group transport, but also marks an important moment for regional mobility, where inclusivity, accessibility and sustainability are central.
