Eindhoven Airport has reached an all-time high in 2023 by welcoming more than 6,8 million passengers, a record that illustrates both the airport's growth and the increasing popularity of its destinations.

The year 2023 marked a remarkable milestone for Eindhoven Airport, with an increase in the number of passengers to more than 6,8 million, both departing and arriving. This growth represents a significant increase from the 6,3 million passengers in 2022 and even more than the 6,7 million in the pre-pandemic year of 2019. This achievement is all the more impressive given the challenges the aviation sector has faced in recent years has had.

The growth of Eindhoven Airport is not only reflected in the number of passengers, but also in its operational activities. In 2023, the airport facilitated 41.496 flight movements, a number close to the licensed maximum of 41.500. For comparison: in 2022 there were 40.252 flight movements and in 2019 41.438. These figures demonstrate how the airport is efficiently using its capacity while supporting steady growth in the number of flights.

An important aspect of the growth of Eindhoven Airport is the diversification of destinations. In 2023, the airport offered flights to 84 different destinations. The top three destinations in terms of passenger numbers were Malaga, London (Stansted) and Alicante. These destinations reflect popular choices among travelers for leisure and business trips.

In addition, the airport reached an all-time high on September 15, when it handled a record 24.597 passengers in a single day. This achievement highlights Eindhoven Airport's efficiency and capacity to accommodate a large number of travelers.

In addition to quantitative growth Eindhoven Airport also made significant progress in customer satisfaction. The highest ever score was achieved in 2023, indicating successful improvement in service and passenger experience.
