Walk towards the Rottemerentunnel and take a tour through the tunnel tube of the Rottemerentunnel through the Lage Bergse Bos, through which traffic will pass at the end of 2025.

On Saturday, June 17, 2023 it will be Construction Day again. Construction consortium De Groene Boog and Rijkswaterstaat will open the construction site of the A10.00 Rotterdam on this day between 15.00 a.m. and 16 p.m. Visitors are very welcome. The A16 Rotterdam is a new highway between the A16/A20 Terbregseplein junction and the A13 Rotterdam The Hague Airport. Part of the new road is the Rottemeren tunnel. The highway and the tunnel are completely energy neutral and the tunnel dives under the Lage Bergse Bos, instead of going right through it. Trees, shrubs and meadows will be placed on the tunnel roof for recreation. This will make the A16 Rotterdam one of the best integrated highways in the Netherlands.
