The most attractive routes and information for tour planning are clearly arranged in a free digital mini guide. The stair trips have everything to enjoy nature actively and sustainably with the family.

Collaboration children's cycle routes Groningen

In Groningen, the Cycling Platform is joining the Children's Cycling Routes initiative with a stair trip, a collaboration between the province of Groningen and the House for Sport Groningen. A total of eight Children's Cycle Routes have been realized in the province, two of which are now part of the stair trip. The Children's Cycle Routes are in line with the world of children's experience and consist of carrying out assignments along the way with which the children can achieve two different game levels.

"The Children's Cycle Routes are intended to encourage a day of cycling in a fun and playful way. We have joined forces and included two of them in a stair trip. The collaboration thus responds nicely to the increasing interest of many families in multi-day cycling".

About stair trip

Pedal trips are a kind of mini-vacations by bike. Specially intended for parents who live in the city with their young children. With a stair trip you can drive straight from the city into nature. But where do you start? How do you handle it? Stair trip helps all 'opstappers' on their way with tips and ready-made routes. There are currently routes from Amsterdam, Groningen, Rotterdam and Utrecht. Three multi-day routes have been mapped out from each city, so a stair trip. Each pedal trip consists of a return trip to a nice place to stay, and an extra day stage to cycle from your guest address. In the case of Groningen, the extra day stage is twice a real Children's Cycle Route with special signs.
