Alderman Anne Mulder (outdoor space, mobility and Scheveningen) recently launched the website Bereikbarestad.denhaag.nl together with city director for accessibility Erwin de Jong. On this new website, visitors can read all about work that affects the accessibility of The Hague.
Information & planning
On the new website visitors read everything they need to get from A to B. The website is intended for residents, entrepreneurs and visitors of The Hague. For each project, they will find more information about the work, the planning and the diversion routes. It is also stated per project where they can go with questions. This only concerns works that affect the accessibility of the city. These can be small-scale sewerage works, replacing traffic lights, making intersections safer, but also the renovation of the Utrechtsebaan or the adjustment of tram tracks for accessible trams, according to the Municipality of The Hague.
