Vacancies can currently be found in all companies and in all government departments. For example, the Royal Stable Department is looking for a Court driver. The Office of the Royal Household (DKH) supports the King, Queen Máxima and Princess Beatrix in their work and private life. DKH also supports the other members of the Royal House in their work as members of the Royal House.

The more than 300 DKH employees work in The Hague, Amsterdam, Apeldoorn and the surrounding area and Baarn. The Service is made up of a number of departments, each with its own specialism or expertise. Together they work towards one and the same goal: to support the King and the other members of the Royal House, so that they can optimally fulfill their role at home and abroad.

You will join a team of 14 drivers with a passion for the profession. In this position you transport the Members of the Royal House who do not have a personal driver, members of the Royal Household and (foreign) guests. You select and (if necessary) explore routes in advance and you are able to ride in official motorcades. You are also responsible for user maintenance, deployability, safety and care of the cars. You also perform other activities, such as transporting horses and goods or riding the Royal bus.

We are looking for someone for 48 hours a week. Salary depends on education and experience and amounts to a maximum of € 2.743,86 per month based on a 36-hour working week, excluding holiday allowance, year-end bonus and an allowance for irregular shifts. In addition, there are good secondary employment conditions. The main location is The Hague. 

The employment contract is entered into for one year with the option of conversion into an employment contract for an indefinite period of time. The Royal Stable Department is also charged with the acquisition, management and care of livestock and the special collection of carriages, sledges and rigging.
