In addition to the popularity of Swapfiets in major cities in Europe, the demand for the blue tire bicycle is also increasing in the areas surrounding those cities. Swapfiets is therefore expanding in the Netherlands to nine new places in 't Gooi and on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. From this week, residents of this region can also use the bicycle subscription for carefree bicycle transport to school, work or appointments outside the door. Swapfiets is therefore available in Hilversum, Bilthoven, Zeist, Baarn, Laren, Naarden, Bussum, Soest, Blaricum and Huizen.

All Swapfiets models are available for residents of 't Gooi and the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. In large cities, the Power 7, the new e-bike model, is already a popular choice for families or residents who have to travel longer distances between the office, appointments and home. The Deluxe 7 also offers a solution for those looking for a luxury bicycle with seven gears, hand and coaster brake and double lock. For students who are looking for a new granny bike, there is of course the Swapfiets Original.

As usual, everyone can count on repairs and maintenance for 't Gooi and the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. You can also easily schedule appointments at home or on location via the Swapfiets app. Ideal for people with a busy lifestyle where a visit to the bicycle repair shop sometimes takes a long time.

Marc van Pappelendam, General Manager of Swapfiets, says: “Residents of 't Gooi and the Utrechtse Heuvelrug come daily to cities such as Amsterdam and Utrecht, or they have previously lived there themselves. In any case, they are familiar with our offer and we therefore saw a huge demand for Swapfiets in the region. We are very pleased that we have therefore realized this expansion. ”

With the extension to 't Gooi and the Utrechtse Heuvelrug Swap bike now available in more than 50 cities in the Netherlands. Swapfiets reports this through this press release on their website. Earlier this year, Swapfiets celebrated the milestone of 200.000 members and the expansion to Milan, Paris and London.
