With a free two-month bicycle subscription, Swapfiets offers a safe alternative to commuting and hopefully eases the intense working day of the care providers. To contribute to and support the hardworking people in healthcare, Swapfiets offers help by offering a free membership of two months. This allows caregivers to go to work safely and easily. Swapfiets is known for the iconic blue front tire, an 'always working bike' and repairs that are included in the subscription.

Since 20 November and valid until 31 January 2021, Swapfiets offers a free two-month subscription to Swapfiets Original or Deluxe 7 bicycles for healthcare providers in cities in the Netherlands where Swapfiets is active. The special offer can be requested via covid.swapfiets.nl. The free subscription is valid for two months and the bicycle can be returned free of charge at a Swapfiets location. Swapfiets reports this in a message on their website.

Eligible healthcare providers who subscribe to this special offer will receive an email one month before the free plan expires, in which they can cancel or choose to continue with a paid membership for a small monthly fee. The flexible Swapfiets membership can be canceled monthly and always includes a free and contactless repair service where the bicycle mechanic comes to the desired location to repair or exchange the bicycle.

Richard Burger, co-founder of Swapfiets: “It is clear that many people are experiencing difficulties in these times, whether they are in lockdown or not. The pandemic is leaving its mark everywhere and we try to do our bit where possible: by providing safe and convenient transport. ”
