RR Travel is the umbrella brand for regional public transport in the provinces of Flevoland, Gelderland and Overijssel. In the IJssel-Vecht region, Keolis is the first transporter to provide bus transport under the name of RR Travel. The three provinces are working together in the tender for bus and train transport. Due to the joint tender, bus transport must better match passenger flows in the provinces.

From December 13, around 250 new electric buses will be running in the IJssel-Vecht region. The electric buses are quieter, cleaner and more sustainable and look different from the buses of Syntus Gelderland and Syntus Overijssel that are still running in the region. RR Travel is the new name for public transport in your region from 13 December. And a new name also comes with a new look.

Many modern gadgets have been incorporated in the buses. There are double information screens available. The screens show travelers current travel information and updates on public transport in the region. Furthermore, the buses are equipped with WiFi and USB charging points. The buses are heated by infrared heating that is incorporated in the ceiling. When getting in and out at the back door, lights flash automatically. Green when boarding and red when the doors close. On the bus it is possible to buy a ticket via debit card, credit card and contactless with, for example, your smartphone or smartwatch.

The provinces of Gelderland and Overijssel and operator Keolis consider it important that the buses are accessible to all travelers. All new electric buses have an electric wheelchair ramp at the rear door that retracts and extends automatically. The bus driver operates the board from the driver's cabin. A traveler can indicate that he / she wants to use the wheelchair ramp via a button at the outside door.
