Who doesn't want the best for his or her child, everyone of course. Transporting your child safely is very important. ANWB reports on their website that the quality of tested car seats seems to be improving. This has emerged from research by ANWB in collaboration with its international sister clubs. Of the fourteen seats examined, eight of them managed to get four stars. The maximum score is five stars.

The other six seats received three stars and thus scored a pass. In the test, the ANWB assessed the seats for safety, use, ergonomics and the presence of harmful substances. It is striking that not a single car seat tested failed. Previous years show that car seats are still being offered that do not pass the test. It is not possible to read from a seat in the store, showroom or on the internet whether or not it is safe for a child.

The ANWB therefore advises parents to orient themselves well when purchasing a car seat by delving into the matter, such as the ANWB car seat test. In addition, it is always advisable to fit the car seat with child in the car. Anwb.nl now contains a lot of information about more than 250 car seats that have been tested since 2015. So too read how to assemble a car seat. The ANWB has been testing child seats every year since 2003 to inform parents about their quality. Regular testing leads to better quality. Several seats that failed the test in recent years have been improved by the manufacturer or taken out of production.
