Fortunately, there is already a bit more flown than months ago, but we are now in the middle of the summer period and compared to normal it is absolutely not what it was. The summer period is normally the busiest time of the year when it comes to flying. Months ago, the majority of the fleet was grounded by the consequences of the corona crisis. That is now a thing of the past, it is getting busier at the airports.

It is far from the way it was but we have to start somewhere again. Airline Transavia last week on their website the flight schedule known for the months of September and October. They fly to about seventy different destinations. Due to the consequences of the corona crisis, they are flying a different travel network this year than normally in these months. Transavia is also less often flown to destinations during these months.

Transavia temporarily does not fly to Sweden, Denmark, Great Britain and Lebanon. The corona developments and easing of measures in these countries are still too uncertain and they cannot predict how this will be in the coming months. Transavia's flight schedule for the summer of 2021 will be announced and published on the website at the end of August. The summer schedule is normally published in September.

The number of flights is less because there is also less demand for flights. Because of the corona crisis, many people still don't want to fly. Earlier it was announced by the various media that more and more corona travelers are on the plane and may have also infected other people. Since June, 26 passengers with corona have arrived at Eindhoven Airport alone. Transavia indicates that the flight schedule of the destinations to which they fly in September and October can still be adjusted in the event that there is a change in corona measures in countries.
