In addition to the e-bike, you can now also use the e-pedal boat. With the introduction of the e-bike on the water, Ceclo Nederland wants to set a new trend in water sports and recreation. Holiday park BreeBronne in Maasbree is the first in the Netherlands to use two Ceclo electric pedal boats.  

According to Viktor Ponten, owner of Ceclo Netherlands, the traditional pedal boat lags in appearance, comfort and sailing characteristics. "The trendy and luxurious design of the Ceclo gives the pedal boat a new image and shows that it no longer has to be a clumsy boat in the shape of a swan or a duck, or even one with a slide."

The positive reactions that the company has already received show that there is a strong desire of holiday parks to renew the rental fleet. Ceclo's pedal boats therefore fit in well with the visible trend of increasing luxury and comfort in Dutch parks. 

Thanks to the electric pedal assistance, the Electric pedal boat achieves speeds of 7 to 10 kilometers per hour. That is three times faster than a normal pedal boat. This makes it a sustainable and trendy alternative for boat owners. Not only for holiday parks, but also for canal trips in tourist cities or other recreational facilities on the water. 

The Ceclo Original is an innovative vessel that has good sailing characteristics thanks to the support of the electric motor and the streamlined design. The pedal boat is designed as an eco-friendly vessel and where possible built from recycled and sustainable materials. It is built by hand and, with a length of almost four meters, can accommodate three to four people.

Holiday park BreeBronne in Maasbree has the Dutch first. From Friday, guests of the park can go sailing with it, for example for a romantic picnic or a visit to one of the beaches. The electric pedal boats also fit well with BreeBronne Village, the new part of Holiday Park BreeBronne, which is currently under development. Stylish and sustainable holiday homes are being built there, the sale of which will start soon.

Owner Roy Hermans was the first to see a future in this new form of recreation. "It is a unique and distinctive offer for our guests, an activity in the park that everyone will love," he says.
