Now that conditions are easing and mobility between countries within Europe is starting up, it is also time to look carefully at the rest of the year. Who wants to rent a chalet on the Christmas market during Winter in Antwerp to sell food, drinks or other merchandise, can register from Monday 15 June. Starting companies and non-profit organizations are also welcome.

Winter in Antwerp, if the corona crisis evolves favorably, will start on Saturday December 5, 2020 and end on Sunday January 3, 2021. As every year, there is also the cozy Christmas market where visitors can buy food, drinks, gifts and gadgets. The chalets are located on Groenplaats, Grote Markt, Suikerrui and Steenplein. All chalets remain open in Antwerp during the entire Winter period.

special rates for starters and non-profit organizations

Start-ups receive the possibility to profile yourself on the Christmas market. One chalet is reserved for companies up to 4 years old. They can rent it for 1 week at a reduced rate.

NPOs can also visit the Christmas market for their charity. A chalet is made available to them free of charge for the period of 1 week.

During the last edition of Winter in Antwerp, the city welcomed a total of 1,4 million visitors, which was the most successful edition to date.

The city is looking for enthusiastic managers to make the Christmas market a success again. Ordinary operators, starters and non-profit organizations can register from 15 June to 24 July. The registrations for the merchandise chalets are judged based on a number of criteria. A public offer will be made for the consumption chalets on Wednesday 5 August.
