Flitsmeister has brought a fun and brand new platform to life. Flitsmeister Pickup is the new delivery service that employs 1.7 million users to assist with a local store delivery service. Many stores do not deliver on the same day and Flitsmeister wants to change that with its network.

Little is done with same-day delivery, but this unique concept fits perfectly into the Mobility as a Service concept (MaaS). Especially for packages that need to be delivered near a store. By deploying a network of millions of possible deliverers, this can be made very accessible. Confidence between retailer and recipient is created and fast delivery ensures a positive experience. It is delivered in a cheap and personal way.

locally, quickly and efficiently

Local retailers have the most difficulty in getting parcels delivered quickly and on time and often have to do this too late after closing. That is why Flitsmeister approaches them in a smart way by deploying their own network and helping local retailers. The packages are supposed to be delivered the same day and the Flitsmeister users can earn some extra money.

As a retailer you indicate Flashmaster Pickup because you have packages ready for delivery. The users in the neighborhood receive a notification and can accept it. After accepting, the delivery service collects the package and navigates to the customer's address. During the ride, the route can be shared live with the retailer. Upon arrival, Flitsmeister sends a payment request to the retailer to pay for the delivery.

At the moment the packages are not insured, but in the future they will work with insurance. At a distance of less than 10 km, the shopkeeper pays the delivery person 5 euros. Between the distance of 10 km and 20 km, he pays an amount of 7,50 and for long distances with more than 20 km, the retailer pays 10 euros.
