If we have to maintain the 1,5 meter economy, we can transport a maximum of 13 people in a bus or coach that previously used 50 seats. In public transport buses, standing places may be a thing of the past and the number of seats without redesign of the current buses may even yield fewer seats than the predicted places.

On April 15, Prime Minister Rutte and Minister Wiebes announced that we should continue as an 1,5 meter economy. Since the outbreak of the coronavirus, society as a whole has been forced to take appropriate measures. One should stay at home as much as possible and keep a distance of 1,5 meters. These drastic measures have an impact on all sectors and not least on the transport sector.

call to share new ideas

Transvision calls on its network to share information and new ideas. The 1,5 meter standard is now well integrated into the daily work of our carriers.  Various coach companies that provide train replacement transport apply creative solutions. Think of placing plexiglass screens and increasing the distance between the chairs.

Transvision sees many initiatives by its carriers and that makes them proud of their network. It shows how flexible and resilient everyone is. All measures can be followed online. Share the new ideas with each other, mentioning TTVV (Transvision Train Replacement Transport).
