The petrol stations along the Italian highways will gradually close from tomorrow evening. This is evident from a joint letter from the industry associations of the petrol stations, which states that the petrol stations are no longer profitable due to the corona crisis. At first, only the petrol stations along the motorways would close, followed by those along the ring roads around large cities, and then those along the regular roads.
refueling is important for mobility
In the Netherlands, measures are in place to prevent the spread of the Corona virus. The petrol stations follow up on these measures. For example, they keep the windows of the cash registers closed, the shops remain open, but fresh products are not available at some of the petrol stations and bakeries have been closed.
It is important for cars to be able to refuel. However, there are some restrictions, in line with the regulations of RIVM. In line with applicable guidelines, all Starbucks Stores at Shell stations are closed until further notice.
Shell has announced that it will keep petrol stations in the Netherlands open
“At the same time, we are faced with the challenge of keeping economic and social life going as much as possible. Mobility is an important factor in this. ”
The guidelines are now clear. Avoid the crowds and take the food home with you rather than eat it on the spot. Customers entering the petrol station usually come for a pack of rolling tobacco, cigarettes or the car wash.
gloves when refueling
As a precautionary measure, extra gloves are included with all pumps. In the kiosk, the employee tackles money with gloves. They don't worry. But it shouldn't get any crazier, they all think.
