Munckhof Taxi BV claims to be the first company in the taxi industry to have implemented the ISO 26000 guideline in its business operations. This international standard, which focuses on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), is leading for the company in determining its CSR policy. Based on this standard, the topics and priorities have been identified with the right balance between People, Planet and Profit.
With a CSR self-declaration, a company or organization can make its CSR ambitions known to stakeholders that it implements the ISO 26000 standard. A CSR self-declaration is therefore not a certification or quality mark. The ISO 26000 standard itself is also not certifiable, but a guideline to give CSR handles.
To demonstrate that statements made in the self-declaration are accurate, the report may be verified by an independent third party. Even then it is not a certification, because it is not assessed whether what is alleged is actually correct.
CSR is of paramount importance
Munckhof attaches great importance to the environment and sustainability. The organization is constantly looking for ways to organize business processes and transport as sustainably and socially responsible as possible. In the CSR policy of the Horst company, the international guideline for CSR is: ISO 26000. followed, with the self-declaration recently received.
