Vienna makes a special impression on tourists and for the first time in seven years, Melbourne was no longer the most livable city in the world. The crown remained in Europe and went to the Austrian capital Vienna.

It is a green city with many parks and public green areas. Countless tourists are found there, yet the city exudes peace. While relaxing on a holiday, the ÖBB brings everyone to a beautiful city quickly, easily and guaranteed free of congestion.

After a year of intensive preparatory work, the first e-Taxi was on display in the streets of Vienna from March 2016. Until the end of the project in June 2018, it was even possible for companies to become part of the Vienna eTaxi fleet and to benefit from the support of up to Euro 8.000 per vehicle.

Sightseeing by bicycle is very easy in Vienna.

Sightseeing by bicycle is very easy in Vienna. The sights are, as it were, strung together along the Ring cycle path. If you want to complete this almost flat course without great effort, you can now also do this by e-bike.

For example, you start at the Marienbrücke on Schwedenplatz, the route continues on the Ringstraße, past beautiful buildings such as the State Opera, the Hofburg and the Parliament. At the Danube Canal you can opt for a trip via the promenade along the water, or the bicycle path along the Altstadt. In both cases you will return to the starting point with about 4,5 km in your legs and lots of new impressions richer.

Rent an E-scooter from at least 6 different providers.

E-scooters can be rented in the city center on almost every street corner. The electric scooters are a simple, flexible and relatively inexpensive means of transport for short distances in the city center. There are currently six e-scooter providers in Vienna: Lime, Bird, Tier, Wind / Byke, Hive and Circ (formerly Flash).
The two suppliers Arolla and Voi have also announced that they will offer scooters in Vienna.

Lime e-scooters have been available to use through the Uber app since July 2019.
