After a deferment of payment was granted last Friday, the court of East Brabant has declared the bankruptcy of Eindhoven's Cibatax on Monday. The national taxi company quality mark also went bankrupt and slimmed down in June 2015.

Ultimately, no success.

The bankrupt taxi company in Eindhoven then continued definitively on 1 August under the same name, but had to again apply for deferment of payment, resulting in a new bankruptcy.

Conditions remain difficult in the taxi industry. Eindhoven-based Cibatax, founded in 1972, was declared bankrupt again after restarting last Monday.

The company traded under the different names Combinet Personen Vervoer BV, Zorgtransport Zuid-Oost Brabant, Taxi Company Cibatax and Cabs Zero Emission Taxi. So it was co-owner of the innovative Clean Air Business Service that the blue cars of cabs exploits.

Apart from Eindhoven, Cibatax and Korthout also wanted to introduce this business model in Tilburg and Den Bosch.

Curator Dix of Turnaround Advocaten in Best increases the chance of 'a successful restart' by continuing to provide services as normal at the moment. John Baetsen says in the Eindhovens Dagblad he does not want to elaborate on the causes of the renewed bankruptcy.

Restart with the help of Bossche Hendriks Taxi Services

It has since been announced that the Eindhoven taxi company Cibatax is making a restart. The parties have reached agreement with the Bossche Hendriks Taxi Services.
