After months of preparation, MRC will start with WMO transport in Amstelveen and Aalsmeer. As of the new year, the transport will be carried out by a new player for this region in the WMO area. Maasstad Directing Central signed the contracts after it emerged that MRC was the winner of this tender. Maasstad Regie Centrale is currently one of the fast-growing taxi companies in the Rotterdam region and is active in taxi transport and student transport for clients and passenger transport for healthcare institutions. The company places high demands on the level of its people, automation and resources.

The MRC call center was equipped with the completely new GATE 12 software, in which a tailor-made module was developed especially for this target group transport in recent months. GATE 12, the new software development that is part of Pitane Mobility, is an online solution that can be used completely in a browser. WMO travelers can also do it themselves online books. The new control center software will also have its own app component for WMO transport in the coming month. Travelers in Amstelveen and Aalsmeer can then use the call center, book online themselves or use the WMO app on their phone.

Amstelveen

In Amstelveen there is transport for everyone who cannot travel by regular public transport. It is door to door transport. You must reserve a ride through the carrier. You can use WMO transport with a transport pass. You can request this from the municipality. You will receive a pass from the carrier with a customer number. You usually travel with others with WMO transport. The taxi then picks up several passengers and does not always take the shortest route from your front door to your destination.

Aalsmeer
