This year, friends and family can meet again on December 31 to party together, while respecting the corona measures. The Brussels STIB is ready to transport everyone on New Year's Eve. According to trade magazine Passenger Transport, the metro and tram lines and the Noctis night buses are being strengthened and extended and the entire network is free until the end of the service.

On Friday 31 December, the STIB network will be reinforced from 23 p.m. to give everyone the opportunity to move around Brussels as comfortably and safely as possible until the early hours. The metros and trams run until 02.00am and the Noctis buses even until 05.00am. All together, some 500 drivers, dispatchers and field staff are ready to ensure that residents of Brussels and other travelers make the transition to the new year in the capital without any problems and in complete safety.

All metro lines will be reinforced and will run until 02.00am. From 23.00 pm there is a metro every 10 minutes on all metro lines. All tram lines run until 02.00 a.m. at the same frequency as in the evening. The shuttle bus 81 also runs until 2 a.m. so that the passengers of tram line 81 can complete their journey.

All Noctis bus lines will be extended and run until 0500 AM. The bus lines N04, N05, N06, N08 and N09 run at a frequency of a bus every 10 minutes and the bus lines N11, N12, N13, N16, N18 and N20 have a frequency of XNUMX minutes.
