Many victims of Car Driver Deals (CDD) watch it almost every day Central Insolvency Register and look for the company Atvangarde BV from Maasbracht. While most of the victims were left without a car in the meantime, some are anxiously looking through the window, waiting for a tow truck to remove the car. On social media, victims are driven crazy with each other's stories and assumptions. Do I have another car? Has my contract now been terminated? Where is my deposit? Do I have to give my car? These are all questions that victims are faced with now that there is no clear situation at all. Perhaps the worst is the powerlessness that makes the victims angry.

cat and mouse game

In the meantime, it seems more and more that the management Geert and Jan Golsteijn are playing a cat and mouse game with the press and victims. We previously advised them to come out with an official press release to wipe out all speculation, unfortunately without success. In what they themselves call the update, they have continued to write the same in recent weeks and give the impression that they may have a solution through a foreign investor by mid-July. Getting the company off the ground again with a 0-10 backlog is nearly impossible. Perhaps this is only possible from a different company name, location and management. In addition, every consumer who wishes to purchase mobility will have to be careful with whom he does this.

"Management/owners again call on staff not to approach cdd. They must be able to work in peace on the questions that come in. For the time being, only general updates by mail and via @deals_update until more is clear. We count on your cooperation."

police investigation

Victims who contacted the police report that they indicate to the police that this is a civil case and unfortunately cannot mean anything at the moment. To report fraud, several criteria must be met, which are not yet applicable at this stage. A civil procedure, also called civil law, is a lawsuit between 2 parties. The person who initiates the proceedings is the claimant. The one who has to defend against that claim is the defendant.

The subdistrict court handles civil cases up to an amount of € 25.000, employment cases, rental cases, consumer purchase cases and consumer credit cases. The civil court hears civil cases of more than € 25.000 or of undetermined value. Indeterminate value exists when the parties dispute whether there is an agreement between them. Or a case in which a party wants the other party to do something or to stop doing something. In a lawsuit before a civil court, engaging a  obligated.

bankruptcy

In the context of the law on privacy and interests in the handling of business, the management indicated that it would not provide any information to the suppliers. Yet in the meantime license plates and addresses of drivers have been leaked and cars are being removed, often with all the private belongings that are still in them. To date, there has been no mention of bankruptcy. CDD, in its own words, appearsin talks with foreign investor and hopes for clarity in mid-July about how it will compensate customers klanten“. In fact, we read: we are looking for an investor who will compensate suppliers and victims for the damage.

Still, the main question remains, how is it possible that cars were rented at higher rents from dozens of companies and offered by CDD to its customers at lower rates? Which part of the customers here was pre-financing the other customers to keep this game going, the renter of the car or the person who paid up to a year in advance before he might see mobility or a car appear? And perhaps a legitimate question is whether the rental companies were part of the game or indeed really knew nothing about it? Questions, questions and more questions, but it is clear that this will end badly for the consumer. And that's not even opening the other file on loans granted to their customers to be able to purchase mobility or to pay for the pre-financing of the new car.

social media

On censored social media, a striking number of customers remain 'loyal' to the system and still see no malicious intent. They are also advised not to report fraud to the police. Meanwhile, we also receive messages from victims who are removed from the Telegram group when they want to tell their story or write something that is inappropriate for the administrator of the group in favor of CDD. You can then ask yourself who is behind the groups for victims and what is the motivation for blocking information? Often the best way to keep everything under control as the 'cause' of all the misery is to organize a group of victims on social media. It is not easier to obtain information and especially the strategy of the victims. Wait and see what the next chapter will be in this sad mobility drama.
