Brussels Airlines is further expanding its range of special assistance services for its customers. Under a new partnership with Medical Travel Companions, Brussels Airlines guests with special needs can now benefit from a personal companion and medical assistance before, during or after their flight for a fee.

Brussels Airlines has partnered with Medical Travel Companions to offer a new private concierge and assistance to travelers with special needs. The new option, available with immediate effect, offers a selection of individualized service packages that the Brussels Airlines customer can book together with his flight to meet his specific special requirements.

The new service will provide the traveler with a qualified attendant such as a nurse, a paramedic or a doctor, depending on the package chosen. The assigned attendant will not only provide assistance in case of medical needs: he will also support the traveler upon request with the desired services before, during and after the flight - in the current times, for example, accompanying them to a PCR test.

“At Brussels Airlines, we want to make travel more accessible by continuously improving our services. With this personal medical assistance, we can give passengers with special needs the opportunity to travel with peace of mind ”

The new service is aimed at a broad target group, such as families with young children, seniors and passengers with reduced mobility or medical problems who need assistance during their trip or are looking for more travel autonomy during their journey. The reimbursements for a medical travel companion depend on the services requested and vary from approximately € 450 to € 2.900. More details about the offer can be found at the following link: brusselsairlines.com. Together with the Lufthansa Group airlines Austrian Airlines, Lufthansa and SWISS, Brussels Airlines is one of the few Western airlines that offers this service. Brussels Airlines reports this on their website.
