Many industries have been hit hard by the corona crisis. One of these hard-hit sectors is the events industry. No concerts, no artist transport, no security, no catering and no business rental. Some sectors that are all affected by the absence of events. To bring that to the attention, it is #code red for the sector. The sector has been hit so badly that supply companies are in danger of going bankrupt en masse.

Stage builders, light and sound technicians and transport companies who travel between the various stages and festivals have had no income for months. What's worse, no prospect of improvement either. Subtle, symbolic, but in such an impressive way, the sector is asking for support because it cannot go on like this. Tens of thousands of jobs are at risk.

As is known, the events industry is one of the hardest hit sectors due to the Corona crisis. Until there is a vaccine, large-scale events will not be possible and the events industry will shut down completely. This is likely to continue for another year. Now we can of course continue to focus on what is not possible now, but we prefer to look at what is possible, according to the SVR. With that in mind, a wonderful collaboration was established with a number of specialists from the event industry. Specialists who are normally in the organization of Low Lands, Mysteryland, DEFCON, etc. and would also be involved in Formula 1 in Zandvoort this year, started working for the SVR campsites in the Netherlands.
