Since the corona crisis, the number of black-and-white drivers in public transport has increased. The increase does not apply to the train and metro because travelers have to pass through gates there before boarding. The increase does apply to buses and trams because it is not possible to check well here because passengers get on the back of the bus or tram. Before the corona crisis, there were barely 1 percent of cyclists, now this is more than 20% says chairman Pedro Peters of umbrella organization OV-NL last week against Nu.nl.
