The court has decided that transport on fixed routes around Arnhem-South may simply be forgiven to Willemsen-de Koning as of August. Competitor Noot from Ede filed a lawsuit against Target Group Transport Region Arnhem-Nijmegen (DRAN), because it says that the company would wrongly miss several million.

The judge did not consider new negotiations necessary and states that DRAN is the area Willemsen-the King may assign. The new contracts concluded by DRAN with carriers for various routes are to take effect in August.

The eighteen municipalities in the Arnhem-Nijmegen region and the province of Gelderland work together on regional target group transport. The Arnhem Nijmegen Transport Organization was established for this purpose. They organize transport for special groups in the region. They are people who use the Wmo, the Youth Act, student transport, small-scale public transport and custom transport according to the Participation Act.

Willemsen - the King transports with care

The company is happy to say goodbye to the engine and welcomes sustainable Green Gas. Half of the fleet now runs on this environmentally friendly fuel. A fuel that not only meets our planet, but also fellow human beings. It gives less noise and less unpleasant smells. As pioneers in the taxi industry, they have been using this Green Gas trend since 2010. In 2019 they are the proud owner of the largest fleet of small-scale Green Gas vehicles in the Netherlands. Transport with care for people and the environment.
