EasyJet staff are very concerned about Corona virus because they have to fly to areas such as Northern Italy. One of their stewards even says against Heart of the Netherlands that they are forced. According to him, if employees refuse, there is a threat of dismissal.

According to the flight attendant, easyJet has two faces. For the outside world, he believes that every precaution is taken to protect passengers and crew from the virus. But inside it is only about actually allowing the timetable to continue, says the man.

He criticizes the budget company's policy.

“Our flights often go through different places, for example Amsterdam-Milan and then Milan-London for example. In the meantime, the plane is not cleaned with us. ”

In a written reaction EasyJet denies to Hart van Nederland that personnel are put under pressure to fly, on pain of dismissal. easyJet states that this is not true. They provide support with questions from crew members about the Corona virus and provide information on their intranet.
