Also in Gardermoen it is watched how some taxi companies grab tourists when they arrive at Oslo Norway airport. If you have landed on Gardermoen and want to take a taxi from the airport, you should still be careful. You can easily pay at least NOK 1000, about € 100 for a one-way ticket to the center of Oslo.  

If you still want or need a taxi, use the self-service kiosks to select the cheapest ride. There is a screen at the public transport counter in the arrivals hall of the airport.

As for taxi companies, Oslo Taxi (tel .: 02323) is rated 'best'. The best number two is Norgestaxi (02000) and Christiania Taxi (02364). 

Flytoget airport express train

A good alternative in Gardermoen is the flytoget airport express train or one of the other express trains. Express buses and trains cost around € 17 to € 21 for a single journey. The bus takes longer and is not as comfortable as the express train, but they work with most hotels in the city and will get you right to the door.
