Following the bankruptcy of Mobility ID BV, the company behind taxiboeken.nl, the bankruptcy trustee has placed all domain names on an online bankruptcy auction. From 15 to 18 November auctioned BVA Auctions various domain names and websites in the online bankruptcy auction of 'Mobility ID BV'. The auction was organized on behalf of curator AHJ Dunselman of Schenkeveld advocaten in Alkmaar.

No response to sales or restarting business

In the auction, 26 domain names and 2 websites were offered, including, according to the curator's own statement, the successful and still active website taxiboeken.nl. The curator, Mr AHJ Dunselman, did not respond to questions from interested parties about a total takeover or a possible restart of the company Mobility ID BV. The domain name taxibooeken.nl has now been sold for € 30.733.

Only after it was announced that the contract with the Ministry of Defense was immediately transferred to De Vier Gewesten, the questions were answered on the Tuesday following bankruptcy, after repeated requests from one of the parties. In response to the question asked, the answer came that everything would come to BVA. 

Has the curator investigated all options here?

A bankruptcy trustee must settle the bankruptcy neatly and represent the interests of the creditors in the best possible way. If a bankruptcy is declared, the trustee takes over the powers. To actively collect, the trustee will sell the company's inventory and stocks. If possible, he will sell these assets as part of a restart so that he can also request an amount for the company's remaining goodwill.

BVA Auctions is the largest online auction house in the Netherlands and auctions movable and immovable property on behalf of third parties. The website has more than 5 million visitors and more than 1,2 million registered monthly. Over 860.000 bids are made monthly by buyers from more than 95 countries.
