The Municipality of Rucphen conducted a WMO client experience survey in accordance with its statutory accountability obligation. Residents from the municipality of Rucphen are satisfied with the support they receive from the Social Support Act (Wmo).

The clients experience the contacts with the Wmo consultants in particular as positive and pleasant, according to Addo Sprangers Rucphen Bode to tell. This is evident from the study that the Municipality of Rucphen had carried out by I&O Research. The municipality wants to use the results to further improve support.

In total, 646 clients received an invitation letter requesting to participate in the study. A total of 345 clients completed the questionnaire in full. This is a response of 53%. The survey shows that a large majority is positive about how the Municipality of Rucphen deals with the client's request for help.

Councilor Suzanne Breedveld thinks that clients feel taken seriously.

“That applies to no less than 83% of the conversations. We are happy with that. In the conversation, our Wmo consultant looks at a solution for the request for help together with the client. Showing personal attention and understanding is important. And our consultants do that. The reason why people seek help is above all not being able to cope with the household, followed by transport problems ”.

“This concerns counseling, household support, wheelchairs and transport and housing facilities,” explains Alderman Suzanne Breedveld (CDA). “Through this research, we know how residents experience the support and what could possibly be improved. 78% agree with the quality of the support. And 80% believe that he / she is better able to cope with the support provided. Those are great results, ”she says.
