The Port of Amsterdam is working on the energy transition by making the sea cruise more sustainable. In 2025, the sea cruise will go on shore power at the Passenger Terminal Amsterdam (PTA). This reduces the emissions of a cruise ship at the quay and improves the air quality in the area. It will be a legal requirement from 2030
